So, let's chat more about CLOTH WIPES! Because, there is NO greater alternative that these!
Cleaning is so simple, easy and cheap! Just add water and wipe! Though you may want to use a homemade DIY solution too.
Another option, is to keep a roll of toilet paper next to your changing station to use for grabbing the worst of the waste and flush that, and then finishing off with the wet cloth wipe to give a good clean. This is the easiest for once baby starts solids.
There are so many ways to make cloth work for you. You can either store them dry, and keep a bottle handy to spray baby's bottom with water before wiping. Or you can store them wet, so they are ready to go with each change! I personally would keep them dry under the sink, and on my way to changing my son, would grab and few and wet them under the sink.
Taking cloth wipes on the go is also so easy! Using a wetbag, add some wet or dry wipes so that they are all stashed together with your nappy change items. Taking a spritzer bottle or one of our gorgeous bamboo spray bottles, when out and about just give your baby's bottom a spray or spray the wipes directly before use. Then store the dirty wipes in the dirty storage section of your wetbag and add to your laundry when you return home.
Just throw your dirtied cloth wipe into your dry nappy bucket/laundry sink until ready to wash your items (dirty inserts/nappies/baby clothes etc). They can be washed with your cloth nappies and line or tumble dried on low.
So there you have it! Cloth Wipes are SUPER easy, cheaper, better for the environment and better for your little one.
